The Hip Hop Snare Drummer

"Rap music artists of the Hip Hop culture create songs that tell a modern story of life by weaving street poetry through lyrical rhymes, built on the rhythm of drums (both acoustic and electronic).

The Hip Hop Snare Drummer is a collection of original snare drum solos inspired by the rhythms of rap.

The goal is to make the snare drum “speak” through the use of grace notes, accents and rolls. The complexity of these combinations will challenge the reader, but hopefully be fun to play along with the songs, as marked."
